Shopping & Social Support

1:1 support to attend to your shopping, social activities important to you including medical appointments, special occasions, hairdressers or other events.

Transport & Outings

Transport to appointments, assistance with shopping or attending social activities.

Clinical Care & Assessment

Our Registered Nurse supports our team and your clinical needs and referrals for podiatry, physiotherapy and occupational therapy.

We monitor and assist with client self – administration of medication from webster packs.

Social Groups

A range of Leisure, Craft and Social Groups including Coffee & Catch Up, Patchwork & Quilting, Painting, Computers & Mobile Phones for Seniors, Creative Craft & Social Club.

Respite

Support with respite care to give you and your carer a break.

Mobility, Safety and Independence Aids and Equipment

Need help with mobility scooters and walkers, bedding, chairs, bathroom aids, daily living, ramps, wheelchairs and pressure care.
CareWays can assist you to purchase important home safety devices like an emergency call system and other aids, equipment, assistive technology and home modifications using your funding package.

CareWays can assist you to be more safe in your home and help with home modifications like:

Adding handrails
Widening doorways
Installing ramps
Altering bathrooms and kitchens
Relocating light switches and power points
Installing alarms & monitoring systems or smart technology to control lighting and blinds installing grab rails and hand-held showers
Changing your bathroom to suit your needs

CareWays provides support to Seniors to ensure you are cyber safe to avoid scams and fraud.

Other assistive technology CareWays can help you with setting up a smart watch, TV, music, lighting and doorbells.

CareWays is a not-for-profit community organisation so we ensure we keep our care management and package management fees to a minimum so you get the most out of your package.

All Home Care Packages with CareWays will be delivered using a partnership approach that offers you choice and flexibility.

CareWays will work with you to plan and design a package of care and support that meets your individual needs.

With CareWays you:

  • Choose the services and the mobility, safety and independence aids and equipment that will best meet your need
  • Have a greater say in how, when and who delivers your services
  • Decide how much involvement you have in managing your budget and services
